I have called Maine my home since the day I was born. I am truly what they would call a “Mainiac”. I have always been creative, but it wasn’t until I took my first creative writing class my freshman year in high school and I fell in love with being able to show my imagination on paper. I took many classes over the years, I even took a poetry class (didn’t really enjoy that, but got a lot of writing done on the book I was working on). I got really serious about my writing after being let go form a job  and it was suggested that I joined Romance Writers of America and then the Maine chapter. Along with spending my early mornings writing and then my nights writing, I have been learning to knit. It’s relaxing when you’re frustrated with your black moment or why your heroine doesn’t want to fall in love with the hero. Or if that doesn’t work, I curl up with a nice cup of tea ; a good book and my two cats.
